In April 2025, the Liberty Gallery features artwork by members of Spokane Print & Publishing Center, using the medium of printmaking to explore the concept of Duality – How Opposites Attract.

Duality consists of two concepts that exist in contrast with each other. The boundaries of one are defined by the rugged edges of the other, and yet the two must exist for the idea to be real.

Printmakers dance in the middle between white paper and black ink, making negative space positive, turning shadows into light, and blending the two until they are greater than the sum of their parts.
