The St. John’s Music Series welcomes guest organist Amiel Elfert. Sunday, January 12 at 3:00pm. Amiel holds an Associate Diploma from the Royal Canadian College of Organists and has studied with numerous leading organists including David Briggs, Eduardo Bellotti, Johann Vexo, and Robert Quinney. He is currently working towards his BMus degree at the University of Victoria. Amiel spent many years in Spokane, singing with our St. John’s Cathedral Junior Choir and was the boy soprano soloist with the Spokane Symphony’s performance of Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. We are delighted to welcome Ami back to St. John’s and our newly refurbished Aeolian-Skinner organ on which he will be performing works by Bach, Byrd, Howells, Whitlock and more! $10 (suggested donation) at the door with reception in Welcome Center following the concert.
