Cathay Inn
In 1950, at the same location, Tom F. Eng introduced Spokane to the delicacies of fine Chinese cuisine. The Cathay Inn was dedicated to treating customers like family, serving only the freshest, quality ingredients. Over the years, some things have changed. Back then Division Street was little more than a narrow road for travelers, and The Cathay Inn was a roadside restaurant on the outskirts of Spokane.
But some things have remained the same. Many of our servers are second generation. In some cases, their children have joined us, the third generation to serve you!
All of us take great pride in our past, and are dedicated to continuing in the tradition of keeping you, our guest, as our single most important focus. Groups welcome!
