Holiday Spirits of Spokane
Discover the best Spokane craft distilleries, breweries, and bars to try this 2021-2022 holiday season! Keep your spirits high with the best beverages in Washington!
Everybody knows that breweries abound in our region, yet wineries and distilleries are also on the rise, offering a unique opportunity to visit the very place where some of your favorite beverages are created.
If that location is TOWNSHEND CELLARS, you’re in for an extra treat: Green Bluff, a collection of more than two dozen farms and orchards across 12 scenic square miles. From the country roads that get you there, to the view from their Green Bluff-area tasting room to their award-winning wines, a trip to Townshend Cellars is a special occasion waiting to happen.
A winery in one of the region’s largest tech and business communities? Yes! LIBERTY LAKE CELLARS produces two distinct types of wines: bold, berry-forward wines from the Red Mountain AVA, along with their new TAHIJA wines, like the Sangiovese, which medaled at both the 2020 Washington State and Great NW Invitational wine competitions. Stop in for a taste!
Downtown and dedicated to local sourcing, DRY FLY DISTILLING has been the very model of success. Since it first opened in 2007, Inlander voters have been lauding them as the best distillery, while the industry has bestowed awards on their whiskey, gin and vodka. In the past two years they added a canned cocktail line and expanded to a new location downtown with a brand new tasting room that would make a great holiday-season pit stop.
Can’t decide on wine or a cocktail? You don’t have to at BON BON, a fun little purveyor of craft cocktails right next to the Garland Theater, which also serves a rotating menu of craft beer. But spirits are the specialty at Bon Bon, which is known for its charming, if quirky interior, happy hour specials and movie-themed cocktails.
